Lattafa Khamrah Review: A Sweet and Spicy Gourmand Perfect for Fall

Lattafa Khamrah Review

Welcome to my Lattafa Khamrah review.

I had to try this fragrance after seeing it trending on social media, and I am impressed! Khamrah is often mentioned as a cheaper alternative to Kilian Angels’ Share. While it does have a similar scent profile, Khamrah stands out in its own right.

Read on to discover more about this sweet and spicy fragrance that has taken social media by storm.

Value for Money

Lattafa Khamrah is a must try for any sweet and spicy gourmand lovers.

This is a rich, warm, sweet, spicy, cinnamon fragrance that leaves an impression.

Khamrah has exceptional performance at a very low price. The value here is incredible!

✓ Pros

  • Exceptional performance
  • Inexpensive
  • Sweet and spicy cinnamon gourmand scent

✗ Cons

  • Some find it too sweet

What Does Lattafa Khamrah Smell Like?

The opening of Lattafa Khamrah is a wave of warm, sweet, spicy gourmand goodness. The cinnamon, nutmeg, dates, and praline notes are the stars of the show here. They combine to create an intoxicating, rich, smooth, cinnamon-centered gourmand scent.

Khamrah remains very rich, warm, and sweet throughout the dry down. The underlying wood notes become present as the scent evolves, but overall it maintains its sweet, spicy cinnamon scent throughout.

Khamrah is very much a unisex fragrance (although, truly, all fragrances are gender-neutral, wear what you enjoy!) for all lovers of sweet and spicy gourmands.

  • Top Notes: Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Bergamot
  • Middle Notes: Dates, Praline, Tuberose, Mahonial
  • Base Notes: Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Benzoin, Amberwood, Myrrh, Akigalawood

Lattafa Khamrah is quite impressive in its longevity and projection. It lasts for over 12 hours on skin and for days on clothes. Khamrah’s projection is strong for the first few hours and remains present for its longevity, but softer in the late hours.

Khamrah’s projection is strong for the first few hours and remains present for its longevity, but softer in the late hours.

An interesting quality about Khamrah is its ability to have a substantial projection and presence without being overpowering.

When to Wear Lattafa Khamrah

Lattafa Khamrah is the perfect colder-weather fragrance for spicy gourmand lovers. Its cinnamon and nutmeg notes fit right in with crisp autumn days.

Khamrah is versatile and suitable for a wide range of occasions, including casual outings and formal events. It may be a bit on the sweet side for the office, but that always comes down to personal preference.

Price-wise, Lattafa Khamrah is incredibly competitive, offering a high-quality fragrance experience at a very low price

As the founder of Lattafa has stated in an interview, “While quality is paramount, the price points are equally critical. Once there is a core price point created for a brand of perfume we try and stick to that price point and do not allow drastic changes in these price points. We try to remain transparent when it comes to our pricing strategies. It’s also one of the key reasons for the longevity of the brand.” [1]

Is Lattafa Khamrah a Clone of Kilian Angels’ Share?

Lattafa Khamrah isn’t a clone of Kilian Angels’ Share, although it does share a similar scent profile.

I compared both fragrances at the same time, and the openings are quite different. The opening of Khamrah is much “heavier”, sweeter, and spicier, with strong gourmand cinnamon notes.

In comparison, the opening of Angels’ Share is more on the boozy sweet side, with the cognac note taking the lead.

In the dry down they become more similar, as Angels’ Share becomes sweeter and its cinnamon note stronger. However, Angels’ Share does remain lighter in presence and a bit more on the boozy oaky side throughout.

Overall, the two fragrances share a similar DNA, but Lattafa Khamrah has its own unique twist, especially in the opening.

I thoroughly enjoy both fragrances and would recommend Lattafa Khamrah as a fragrance that is somewhat similar to Kilian Angels’ Share. It is a fantastic, much more affordable alternative.
